CTSG Perfusionists

Wisconsin Cardiovascular Services, LLC is a organization consisting of the perfusionists working within the Cardiothoracic Surgery Group. These perfusionists are invaluable members of the CTSG surgical team, as they are in charge of operating the machinery that pumps oxygenated blood to the heart while it is stopped during an operation. In addition to maintaining the patient’s circulation during an operation, these individuals are required to respond quickly during emergencies and communicate effectively any changes to the rest of the team.
